Intro
Tina Tower [00:00:01]:Hi, friends, and welcome to her Empire Builder show. That is the final time that I will say those words. And I thought I'd rip the band aid off straight away because that way I can be like, really upfront and honest about it from the beginning. And also I'm like, in the promo of the podcast, like, I need to say, this is, this is it. This is the final episode. This is my last podcast episode. I may not say forever because who knows, we never know what's going to happen in the future, but for now, this is the end. And I can't imagine the circumstances where that will change, but who knows? I might, I might take a break and, you know, we can always leave it open.
Main Episode
Tina Tower [00:00:55]:
But as I'm recording this, so this is dropping on Friday, 12 June, there is a lot of things happening today. So I, at the time that this is being recorded, I have just done the in person announcement for all of the changes that are happening in my life and in her Empire Builder to my members who are in the room and, and at the same time, we've shared social media, we've dropped the podcast episode and we've emailed out to our members and our database. So it's a lot of, you know, a lot of logistics that are happening. And it is now Sunday 7th June. As I record this, I have left it till the last minute. I go to Fiji tomorrow morning. So I have sat down to record this a few times and then I have just got back up again because it turns out that the final episode is the hardest one to start. So I'm just going to talk to you like I always have.
Tina Tower [00:02:05]:
My goal always with the podcast has been to be able to share from my journey and to be able to help you and be able to use both strategic lessons, but also inspiration and also lessons of things that I've done wrong and everything in between. And so that is still my only goal with today's episode. I want to share as much as I possibly can because I know that a lot of people will hear the announcement that I'm making and just think I'm bonkes and it won't make sense to a lot of people. And I know when things don't make sense, it's really easy to make up a narrative in between that. And so I'll try and try and give you as much information as I can so that it makes sense. Because, you know, I, I don't want, I don't want the in between. And so you've probably, you know, for people that have listened for a long time, you would have noticed that I have been a lot quieter. This year.
Tina Tower [00:03:09]:
For the first time in seven years, I stopped my weekly newsletter and podcast. I have always gone every week. And something in me over the Christmas break just decided I didn't want to anymore. And, you know, there's a whole. I think there's a combination of many things that have all happened in. In the period of a year or two of very quiet whispers of not this sudden, like, epiphanies that drop in, but these little whispers, these little niggles that for a long time I tried to ignore or make something else out of. But I am so aware of what happens when you ignore your whispers. You don't ever want to do that.
Tina Tower [00:04:08]:
And, you know, I have been a little lost because I haven't been thinking how I normally think. There. There has been a lot that's happened in the last couple of years that have contributed to that. And, you know, it's. It's little things. It's not even big things. It's. I'm 42 now, and I know I felt a real shift, like after turning 40, and I know that that's really psychological, but also the time of life as well, that shifted in me.
Tina Tower [00:04:38]:
I lost a bucket ton of weight, which shifted a lot internally within me. And it's not something that I've spoken about publicly. It's not something that I've really acknowledged publicly. When I was dropping the weight, there was a lot of. I lost members over it. There were people that, you know, I got an email from someone saying they were really disappointed in me, that, you know, I have put this message out now that smaller is better. And anyway, there was a whole lot of stuff that I was like, you know what? I just don't even want to talk about this. I don't even want to acknowledge it.
Tina Tower [00:05:14]:
I don't want to be part of the drama. But I started taking Manjaro in January of 2024. So I've been on it for two and a half years now. I'll be on it forever. This was not an intention to share this. This is not in my dot points of my notes, but it. But it contributes a lot to this. This part of the story is for me.
Tina Tower [00:05:42]:
I first went to Weight Watchers when I was 16 years old, and a big part of my life has been dieting and exercising and punishing myself for not being able to have the physical body that I wanted to. I have been overweight my whole life, and I didn't realize how much mental space that took up and how emotionally that weighed on me in my life until that disappeared. And I know that a lot of people have differing opinions about using Tirzepatide or what, whatever different medication that people. People are using. You know, the amount of times I've seen, why don't these people just move more and eat less? It's like, oh, why didn't I think of that? But it is. It's something that is nearly impossible to understand if you haven't been in that situation. Because I really think that, you know, after, after I lost the weight and I've lost 26 kilos and I'm five foot tall, so my American friends, it's about 50, 55 pounds, so a lot. And I also lost with it the weight of so many things.
Tina Tower [00:07:15]:
I felt so free. And for the first time, I felt like me, like I didn't have anything to prove anymore. Like I had so much more self acceptance. And I know a lot of people are like, why couldn't you accept yourself before? And let me tell you, like, I have always loved myself. Self love is not something that, that I've had an issue with. But there's always that lingering part there where I couldn't do what I wanted to do. I would exercise like a fiend and I would starve myself, and I just couldn't get the result that I wanted to get. And that for someone like me, was really, really difficult.
Tina Tower [00:07:59]:
And so to have that, and it does play with your brain a little bit as well in that, I think with the food noise. I also lost a bit of my workaholic tendencies. But I don't know if it was just. I wouldn't put it down to just the medication because I also had spent the year, year before that, 2023, working with a coach called Barrett. Barrett Brooks, who he has been on the podcast before, highly recommend going back and listening to that episode. And I spent the whole year working with him, figuring out what I wanted for this next chapter of my life because the business had grown so quickly and was never the business that I intended it to be. And everything at the end of 2022 was pointing towards, like, let's go big. Let's go for a 5, $10 million business, let's hire the American team, and let's just go for it.
Tina Tower [00:09:03]:
And everything in me internally was like, no, I don't want to. I don't want to. But there's this thing of where we just think bigger is better. And I learned my Lesson, like, I had a company before that I sold because I knew bigger wasn't better. But with this, I just thought, it's such a waste to not see what I'm capable of and get to the edge of my potential and all of those different things. And, you know, I could see so many results and helping so many people and people's lives changing, and I got to teach, which I love, and all of these things that I thought, all right, let's go for it. And then we kind of started that, and I started employing people, and, you know, just internally, everything was off. And this is what I mean by not ignoring the whispers.
Tina Tower [00:09:52]:
And so Barrett was like, just. That man changed my life. Like, I'd never been able to listen to myself in the same way that he taught me to. And by the time I feel emotional just talking about it, by the time that you finished, I really had let go of a lot of that proof energy that I had led my whole life by. And I think that, you know, a lot of that came from. Came from childhood of. I know. I know not.
Tina Tower [00:10:35]:
Not everyone will know my. My backstory. I'm not going to go into it now, but I left home really young, and I don't have relationships with. With either of my parents. I have a really tumultuous relationship with them. And there's. There's a specific sort of personality trait that I think that people adopt when they feel unloved by their parents. And there is this real need to prove your worth, because if the people that are supposed to love you unconditionally don't, that can mess you up in a lot of different ways.
Tina Tower [00:11:15]:
And I've seen a lot of psychologists through the years for that, and that has been really good. And I've managed to, you know, know, build such a beautiful life for myself because of that. I have such a beautiful relationship with my husband because I put so much love and care into our relationship. I have my dream relationship with my kids because there was nothing more important to me than that and them knowing how loved they were. And so the good parts come out of that, because I wanted to be so independent financially, and I wanted to be so free to live my own life on my own terms that having that background encouraged me to sprint for these things that most people would not sprint for. And I persisted through. You know, business is not for the faint of heart. I mean, I love being an entrepreneur.
Tina Tower [00:12:22]:
I cannot imagine any other way of living life. But I tell you what, you in the arena, you like that. Citizens of A republic speech like is true, you are marred by blood and sweat and tears over and over again. There is no greater personal development than starting and growing and selling a business like it is. It is a contact sport. And I think that through so many stages of my business, I've been in business now for 22 years and I've built and sold four businesses. There are so many points in which I would have given up if I was a normal person. I was, you know, I think most people.
Tina Tower [00:13:13]:
But because I had such a drive and because I had such a passion to create something of my own and to make a positive impact in the world, it enabled me to push through so many barriers and to stay so committed and, you know, fall and get up again and fall and get up again and fail and dust myself off and learn and get up again and humiliate myself and get off again and try and fail and get off again, like over and over and over and over and over again. And you know, I know some, some people might be listening to this now that have found me recently. It's like you see nothing but nonstop wins. My friends, I wish you knew me 15 years ago because, you know, it takes a lot to get to this point and the freedom that I have now, I have earned it. Like, I've worked so hard for it. And so I think that working with Barrett really made me be able to identify what do I actually want if I let all of that go, if I have nothing to prove to anybody, what do I want my day to day to look like? What do I want the business to look like? And in the end, while I initially went to him to help me deal with team and the bigger businesses, I just, I knew, I knew I didn't want that. I love running a million dollar business with like one va. It is delightful.
Tina Tower [00:14:58]:
It is a wonderful business model. And so to me to go, all right, well, If I run a 5 million business or a $10 million a year business, then, you know, will I need to have 10, 20 staff? And no, I don't want that level of responsibility. I love the autonomy of the size of my business. And so that was already there. And then I finished working with him and then in the January I started on Manjaro and I turned 40 and I got his license. So it all like happened quite, you know, like everything just started snowballing in there. And then, you know, my kids now both drive cars. Cohen finished school last year and he's got a full time job.
Tina Tower [00:15:51]:
Kai's just completing his HSC now he wants to go traveling all next year so he'll be leaving. Like there is, there is a lot that, that feels like it has. It has been shifting and I've definitely gone into the perimenopause stage. I thought I was too young for it been a year since I've had frozen shoulder now which is the weirdest, most ridiculous injury ever. But it's getting a lot better. I'm nearly at the. Nearly through it, nearly at the end. But the changes in hormones has also come at this time where, where I feel like, you know, I'm thinking differently.
Tina Tower [00:16:31]:
Just in the last like 6 to 12 months this part I've really noticed and so there's a lot of different things that are changing where I feel like I am coming into a new era and a new me. But like the Taylor Swift song, I'm such a swifty but you know the Taylor. You might not but anyway, she's got this line in the song that goes haven't met the new me yet. And it's just lovely. And every time I hear it I think that is where I'm feeling is there's. There's a new thing brewing and I haven't met the new me yet but I can't. It's so far feeling like my favorite era because I've never felt such. I've always been very confident but I've never felt a calm, quiet confidence.
Tina Tower [00:17:21]:
I've always felt like I have to show my confidence. If that makes any sense. I don't know if that makes any sense but that is how I am feeling is that I have like this self assuredness that I haven't really felt before. And so what's that meant about the business is the shape of my ambition has changed. I have always like worked hard and I'm still working well, I think I'm still working hard to work out. I mean I'm not compared to 10 years ago, my goodness. But I still work. I love my work but my shape of my ambition has changed.
Tina Tower [00:18:04]:
I used to be willing to sacrifice so much more in order to get the result. And often when I'm coaching people and I'm like if you want that result, like you just got to do the thing. My favorite thing about business is cause and effect. You want result A, you do action A like cause and effect. It really is that simple. And for the first time ever I've been like, I want that result. But you know what? The cost of getting it is just too high. I don't want to do that thing anymore.
Tina Tower [00:18:39]:
And that's a conscious choice. And so that has really messed with my brain because I'm like, whoa, this is new, this is different. And I think a part of that is I've just been changing. And because my business is built off me, is built off my personal brand, it's built off like, you know what it's like when you're running a personal brand business. Like it's, it's off your moods too. Like you'll have a good month and you pour that into your work and that energy is felt and palpable and that gets you the results. And then you have a disengaged month and the results show like I can track all my data in terms of opt ins and sales and conversions and retentions down to my happiness levels and how engaged I am in my business community. And so, you know, when while I definitely have not lost the love for what I've done, what I'm doing, it's definitely changed in how I want to operate.
Tina Tower [00:19:40]:
And when my life changes, my business shape has to change too. And that has never stopped me before. I have changed shape of business many times at many different seasons of my business. And at the moment I'm feeling very safe, I'm feeling very happy. My kids have become adults and I feel like the point where I was always sprinting to that. Like I've made it, I've made, made it to that. They, they say that with business there's never a finish line. And I think that's true because we do move the goalposts a lot.
Tina Tower [00:20:26]:
But in my imagination, there was always a point where I knew that if my life looked a certain way, I'd done it, I made it. And that is what my life looks like now. And truthfully, I can't believe it. Like it is, I don't know, like with the. I've always had such vision. It's always been a really, I guess, really beneficial part of my personality is I am an optimist and I am a very visual person that I can imagine how something is going to be and it's real in my mind. I can see all the details and never once do I ever think that's not available to me. If there's something I want, I am more than willing to make the plan, put in the work and get there.
Tina Tower [00:21:37]:
And I've been sprinting towards that my entire life. And now when I sit here and our beautiful home with my husband and my kids and my beautiful dogs and riding my horses and my Great friends and traveling overseas a few times a year and part of great mastermind groups and all of these opportunities that have come with me. My best friend now lives down the road. I get to see him all the time, like all my, my life is so much better than I ever imagined. And I share that because one, it explains this shift, but secondly, I also want you to know that your past does not dictate your future. There was the odds of me as a 16 year old girl from what my life had been like to that point. To be able to have the life that I have now was so slim. They were so slim.
Tina Tower [00:22:47]:
And I'm so happy and so proud that I have got here. And it's a very different motivation that comes from when you have to do something to when you want to do something. And a lot of my business has been built through the hard stuff because I have to. I've been the financial provider for my family since 2011. And so on a bad day or on different things, like if you, if you don't want to, if you don't feel like it, it's tough. Like you got to get in and you've got to do that. And that motivation is very handy. It's very handy.
Tina Tower [00:23:30]:
And so coming from that into now, where I am doing it for the love of it, there are certain things that I am happy to keep going and there's certain things that I am not. And so it has been really interesting to, to sit with that and to sit with, you know, after my whole life of being so incredibly driven and it's, it's very easy to change something when it's broken. You know, when something's broken, you kind of like your, your backs against a wall and you're like, all right, I've got to pivot, I got to change. It is a whole other thing to change something when it's working. And this works. My business that I have now works beautifully and that's what has made this so hard and also has messed with my head quite a bit. And so a little bit of the background story is I sold Begin Bright 10 years ago, almost to the day, the 1st of July 2016, I sold Begin Bright. So that was my big company that I built.
Tina Tower [00:24:41]:
We had 36 tutoring centers, 120 staff, and I sold that to an international education company back in 2016. Then I worked for that company for a couple years and then we left and I traveled around the world for a year with my family. Hands down, best year of my life. I am so glad we did that. But that is where I tripped and fell into online courses. And when I did that, my plan was to coach. I'd been coaching people one on one. So after I sold the company, I had a lot of people asking me to help them with their systems, with scaling and with setting up for exit.
Tina Tower [00:25:23]:
And so I had been doing a lot of coaching and a lot of consulting and really enjoying like sharing that again, rather than just running my own business, being able to teach again. And so it was supposed to be like a little bit of fun until I found my next business. And one thing just led to another in 2018 was when I launched idea to launch. So that was kind of the formulation of the first iteration of her empire builder. And then in 2020, we know what happened then. Covid hit. Anyone who had been like laid a foundation for online courses prior to 2020, it was the most boom time. I imagine it's what the gold rush felt like.
Tina Tower [00:26:18]:
I imagine it's what people striking oil felt like. It was so easy to build and market and sell online courses in 2020-2022. Like there was so many people moving to online so quickly. People were devouring everything in their organic social media was such a joy. People would talk to you. You actually make like real life friends. But it exploded in 2019. I did $60,000 in online courses in 2020.
Tina Tower [00:26:56]:
400k, 2021, 1.2 million and then it went to 2 million and then has stayed up around that one and a half every year since. And it's blown my mind. Like it is such a ridiculous amount of money to be making from education. And I love it because it's so scalable, it's so leveraged in having a business model that is so win win is like a dream. Being able to make so much money from the expertise that you have acquired and also be able to help people because they can then do the thing. Like it's just, it's such a beautiful, beautiful business model. And so I stuck it. And the numbers are phenomenal.
Tina Tower [00:27:48]:
I mean, I still remember my biggest ever launch was in. Oh, was it in 22 or 23? I was in Mexico, whichever year that was. We just got out of lockdown. It was my first overseas holiday, so it must have been 2022 and I'd gone to Mexico for this launch and we went to bed and then I got up and I made $276,000 in a 24 hour period. And I'd never seen money like it, like it was it still blows my mind. I'm like, wow, that was a lot of money. I mean, wow, have I paid a lot of taxes? Look at our tax bill. Sometimes I'll look at our dashboard, because our Kajabi dashboard is over $8 million, which is a huge number.
Tina Tower [00:28:39]:
But I'll look at that and I'll go, where are all those millions? And I, like, over half of them have gone in taxes through the time, you know, both in company tax, gst and then my personal taxes. And so. But it's still, you know, it's a fuck ton of money. But it's not just like. It's not just the numbers. The numbers are fantastic and they are very encouraging. And business is very fun when you're winning. For anyone who's been in business for a while, when you're winning, it's way more fun than when you're losing and you're battling.
Tina Tower [00:29:12]:
And so it was 20, 23, I think, was the most fun I've ever had in business because I was traveling everywhere. Money was just pouring in. Other people were getting such amazing results. Like, it was an easy, great time. And this is the thing, like, as I've prepared to, you know, go into our next chapter, I have been thinking about my favorite moments and the things that have made me happiest going through. And it's always the women. Always, you know, there's the. There's all of these things that these women have been able to do.
Tina Tower [00:29:52]:
And I have seen, like, people's excitement when they make their first sale on the Internet is one of my favorite things we give everyone that joins her Empire Builder. We give them a bell as, like a celebration bell. And one of my favorite things is when people post their photos and their videos of ringing their bell. And that sheer exhilaration of going, I had an idea and I made something and I was ballsy enough to put it out there, and a stranger on the Internet saw the value and bought it. And I'm ringing my bell for me, like, love that. People making their first six figures, people making their first million. We've had over 20. Her empire builder members make over a million dollars from their ideas.
Tina Tower [00:30:38]:
There's so many families that have changed as a result of being in our community. And that is my favorite part. That and the rooms. I mean, now, I think with the way that the industry is changing and the shape that it's changing, live events and community is more important than ever. I have always loved it, though. It's always been a staple of our business, and we have done 14 live events in the last eight years of her empire builder. There has been. We've been Palm Springs, Hawaii, Fiji, Uluru, Port Douglas, Noosa.
Tina Tower [00:31:21]:
Done. Launch house. Like, there is so many fun events that I have done with big conferences and little retreats and everything in between. And I think the magic that happens in live events and people walking in so nervous and wondering if they're going to have any friends there and wondering if they're good enough. My gosh, the amount that I see women come into big rooms and they're like, everyone's so ahead of me. Everyone's this, everyone's that, and. And then they realize, like, you belong here. This is your room.
Tina Tower [00:31:53]:
Like, you have a seat at the table and then seeing people get more confident and walk through taller and prouder and go out and just smash it. I live for it. I live for it. I love it. And so those parts I love. But the real why behind why I am changing the way that I do things is I never wanted to be famous, and I'm far from it. But there's something that happens with constant content that you put out, and the different level of expectation that sometimes I feel like I am held to gets tiring. I never wanted to be constantly available and constantly on being on every week, I mean, I deliver our master classes.
Tina Tower [00:32:50]:
I think We've done over 400 live masterclasses every week nearly. I am going live and I am teaching good content, like big content that takes me hours and hours and hours to research and put together. Our podcast, our Q&As, Facebook groups, coaching clients, all of the things. And it for an introvert, it leaves me very, very on. And now, like with my boys growing up, being in demand all the time has now turned to on demand. And so I don't have to be there on tap always. Now it's just when they need me. And that means that I have got so much more time and flexibility available, and I want to be flexible with that.
Tina Tower [00:33:45]:
I want to go and live in Palm Springs for six months. I want to go and be in Europe for three months. I want to, you know, work from my laptop, from the beach, in different places because my house is so different to how it used to be. So often now my house is very loud with a lot of people. We have generally about five to eight boys sleeping at my house every Friday night, which I love. A note to the younger ones, like, if you can just supply pizzas, even homemade pizzas every Friday night, you will become the house. This is what I'VE learned. And then you can keep them close, which is really fun.
Tina Tower [00:34:31]:
But then it's really quiet. You know, the quiet of my house now is so hard to get used to. And that means that I've been out and starting to get new hobbies and doing different things. Matt went back to work because of it a couple months ago. Now he's stopped and doing his own business again. Because employment, you guys, employment sucks during every day. Like, every day it was like, what, you're going to work again? Again, like every day. This sucks.
Tina Tower [00:35:06]:
Even though as self employed people, we go to work, you know, we work every day. I definitely work every day. But it's so different when it's like from your own volition where you can go, I'm gonna work for a couple hours here. I feel like going for a walk. I'm gonna take the dogs for a walk. I'm gonna go for a bush walk, I'm gonna go for a horse ride. I'm gonna go swim at the beach, or let's go have a picnic lunch. Like, we can go on and off.
Tina Tower [00:35:28]:
How we choose. I. I have gotten a lot stronger. I am stronger and healthier than I have ever, ever been in my life. I started riding horses not long ago, only on New Year's Day. I was like, everyone had gone. Like, everyone was out and I was here by myself. I'm like, what am I going to do? This is so weird how no one needs me anymore, no one wants to play with me anymore.
Tina Tower [00:35:56]:
Like, where is everybody? And I was like, all right, what's something that I really love to do? I think I might want to go for a horse ride. And so I went and rode a horse. I went on the local trail ride and I'd ridden a few times when I was a teenager, but hadn't have. Like, when we go on holidays, I try and take a horse ride if there's a horse ride available where you just go for a walk. But I hadn't done a lot and I lied on my resume. When I got there, I said I was an experienced horse rider because I wanted to try and counter. And, you know, I was like, I'll just hang on. What's the worst that can happen? Naivety.
Tina Tower [00:36:28]:
Naivety is bliss. Now I'm like, oh, my God, Tina, you were so, so lucky. And so when we, when I went there, I was at the front of the group and went like, the horse went onto a canter and just running through just like around the bush trails and just nothing in front of me. But the gum trees and just this and it just felt so freeing. And when we saw stopped and we started walking again, I just had tears running down my face and I felt so alive and I loved it. And I was like, oh, I am hooked now. And so in true ADHD fashion, I am now like level 10 obsessed. And every week since I have taken lessons, I volunteer at the local horse farm to learn about horses.
Tina Tower [00:37:21]:
I ride for a couple of days a week. I've booked whole week trips that start at the end of this week this year where I'll be on horseback and camping at the side of rivers and doing that, like just getting back into the freedom and back into like life again. And so, yeah, I don't need to be everywhere and I've lost a bit of that proof energy. So what that means for her empire builder, the decisions that I have made is her empire builder is changing. It's not closing, it is changing. But her empire builder in its current form will no longer exist. And so our current live version finishes at the end of this year on the 31st of December. And then from 2027 it's going to do two different things.
Tina Tower [00:38:15]:
So our education is awesome. I've never seen anything like it. I, I am a teacher through and through and I have put so much love and care into the way that I teach and the different education that we have available in there. And so from 2027 it's going to become a much more accessible membership. So the full six years of our master classes are all in there, all of the trainings, Pocket Tina, which is everything I have ever done, built on Delphi AI. So it's like a clone of me. And she's wonderful. I talk to, talk to her like she's in the third.
Tina Tower [00:38:58]:
She's wonderful, but she is, she's got every podcast I've ever done, every newsletter I've ever written, every masterclass I've ever done, every time I've ever been interviewed, guest expert at somewhere. Like, everything that I have ever put out there is in her brain and so it can get people unstuck. Like my members talk to it all day, every day. We still have the community and we are keeping our live for planning days a year. So one of the hallmarks of her empire builder is 90 day planning sessions and that is because people need. What I have discovered is every week we do a new live session and it's a lot of information and often I need people just to stop learning new things and just implement what they've got. And so the 90 days are really good to go. All right, let's take that helicopter view of your business and work out what it is that you need to do.
Tina Tower [00:39:53]:
And then quieten the noise, make a plan for that. Let's break it into 30 day plans, let's break it into weekly and daily tasks and let's just go get it done. And so I'm going to keep them live. That is going to be the only live component of her empire builder. So, so I won't be going live every week anymore. It will all be all of the access to the library, our Delphi AI and our 90 day planning sessions. So that will drop down at the moment, our membership's 5. 99amonth.
Tina Tower [00:40:24]:
That will drop down to 1. 97. And so much more accessible for people that are starting out to be able to access all of that information, all of that community. And getting me in those 90 day planning sessions, then I have Empress Circle. So Empress Circle has been my mastermind that I have had for the last four years. And it is the close proximity space. And I am keeping that because I love working deeper with fewer people. And so that will be for people that have established businesses, so people that are over six figures already and that want to work in that close proximity.
Tina Tower [00:41:06]:
And so one of my favorite parts of Empress Circle is our monthly team calls where we go into a team of eight and then we meet up every month and we do that. So we're going to be doing that as well as twice a year. So in the middle of the year one in June, and at the end of the year one in December, we'll be having in person planning days. So instead of them being online, they will be in the room so that we can all see each other. Because I just love the magic that happens in the room at the moment. Empress Circle also has our annual big retreat and also has those weekly live sessions with her empire builder. So because we're dropping that, the price of that is also becoming a lot more attainable. We're going from 1597amonth, which it is at the moment, down to 7.97amonth.
Tina Tower [00:41:55]:
So half the price of that. But it means that I am available for that monthly team call and not every week. So it is a change in, you know, the, the amount of freedom that I have in there as well. So that is what we will be doing in 2027. Now, the live version, the way that we're running her empire builder right now, won't exist again. And so I am very Much looking forward to finishing it out in the best way that I possibly can. And there is, there is a lot of options I looked at with where to next and how to finish this off. I considered selling it.
Tina Tower [00:42:42]:
I considered closing it down altogether. I considered sucking it up and keep doing it, even though I didn't want to be that readily available and on tap anymore. I looked at every different option and I love it. And I've had the absolute time of my life, but I am also ready for that change and ready to have some more space to create some new things and to explore more and to see what this next stage of my life brings. And so for the remainder of the year, I want it to be the best. I want it to finish with the utmost integrity with everyone having the best time with getting the best results. And so I am going to do a sale for our final live chapter. So we've got six months left of 2026 and for anyone that wants to join us.
Tina Tower [00:43:41]:
So like I said, it's 5.99amonth. We're going to do a six month special of 2997, which is one month free and gets you full access through the 31st of December with the whole current live version. So if you have ever been sitting on the outside waiting to join her empire builder and waiting for the right time, this is it. This is the time to jump in because this will be the last time that we're going to run it live. So that is the big change. Now, the downside is I have been like, talking about this big change that's coming and in my mind it's a huge change because her empire builder at the moment makes us between like around about 70, $80,000 a month. And so to, to say no to that is bonkers. And it seems bonkers.
Tina Tower [00:44:44]:
And it is bonkers. There are many times where I have been thinking, God, are you sure, Tina? Like, it's not that hard. Show yourself, woman. Like, come on. But I'm tired. Yeah. And if I can't give my absolute best year after year and, and if I don't want to grow, and this is the thing, I think it works really well. You are looking at growing while I was still thinking I might grow this to 2 million, 3 million.
Tina Tower [00:45:13]:
You're making different decisions. And my mindset is really in that growth mindset, but when it is not in that growth mindset, then, you know, I'm not the best person to do that. And I don't want to be on Instagram every day. And I Don't want to be telling people what to do every day. Um, and I feel like, like, with the podcast, when I was starting to plan out my subjects, like my topics for this year, I'm like, this is episode 360 something or 20 something. I know over 300 episodes. Everything that I feel like I have to say, I've said. Like, I have nothing new I can bring to the table.
Tina Tower [00:46:06]:
Everything is there. The best marketing that I can think of is there. The best strategy is there. The best team management is there. Like, the best that I can think of to do, I have already said and put it out into the public domain. And so that is why, even though it seems bonkers, it is not just about the money. And I know that that can be really hard to understand because me of 10 years ago would never have been able to understand this decision. I would be kicking my ass so hard because, I mean, the fear is like, what if I finish this and no one wants the new version of the offer? What if I finish this and then I go, I'm going to find another business and.
Tina Tower [00:47:00]:
And I never find another business again that is as leveraged and as scalable as this one. And they're real fears that I have been working through. But, I mean, that's part of the fun, right? That's the growth that I love is doing something different. Rinsing and repeating. Like me, I as running her empire builder, I'm such a systems queen. And we do, like, it's the same thing every year that we are repeating. And yeah, it's just. It's not as fun as what it was at the start when I was designing everything and doing everything there.
Tina Tower [00:47:42]:
And so we've got gold left. And then I'm gonna ride into the sunset on my horse, except for with the people that I'm working really closely with. And there will be a few of those. So with Empress circle, I want 40. So not many. And that is. That is it. Because with those people, I can be really personal.
Tina Tower [00:48:05]:
I can be really open, I can be really close. I can know their businesses really, really well. It is. How her empire builder started was I had 40. So when I went back and I went, what part did I like the best? It's the start because I liked having a smaller group. I can still, you know, get well, financially rewarded for being able to do that and still make really big impact for people. And that is what I want. So to sign off, I do want to say, oh, my gosh, this is my last podcast episode.
Tina Tower [00:48:43]:
I'm still going to be guests on people's podcasts. So, you know, you can hear me on those. My goal is to go on two podcasts a month as a guest. So if you have a podcast and you want me on there, let me know. But I do want to say thank you to my team. I have had over the years so many people that have helped me with her empire builder. So many contractors, so many VAs, so many permanent team. Even the ones that didn't work out taught me so much.
Tina Tower [00:49:16]:
So thank you so much to anyone who has had anything to do with the building of her empire builder, to every guest expert who has come inside her empire builder. My gosh, we've had like the greatest people in the world. I have been able to bring in for her empire builder. Every member. We have had over a thousand members inside her empire builder. And Roz, Michelle, Svet, Karen, Helen, like, there's so many, Mel, Taryn, like, so many people that I could rattle off that were the core DNA of starting her empire builder and was so much fun to build it with and made everybody else feel so welcome and put everybody together and were part of that magic. It has never been a one woman show. A lot of the, I know, like, there's the saying, people will come for you, but they'll stay for the community.
Tina Tower [00:50:19]:
And that is so true. I think that so many of my members are members because of the community. They're members because of the people that they meet and the way that they encourage one another. And that has been such a beautiful thing to be part of and to have facilitated for so many people. I see women now who, you know, they left her empire building years ago and I see them on trips with other past members and like they've found besties and I get to see it. And I'm like, I did that, which is so nice. And you know, even if you were one of the ones that I have never spoken to and you just every week have quietly pressed play and you've never reached out and you've never said hello, but you are there. I always look at our, like, our podcast results and I go like, we have one or two thousand downloads a week coming in.
Tina Tower [00:51:16]:
I'm like, who are all these people listening? So thank you. I want you to know that your ideas matter. Your work matters. You are allowed to want more. You are allowed to change direction even if it doesn't make sense to anybody but you. You're allowed to build wealth. Oh, it is so for those that say money doesn't buy happiness. I just don't know if they've ever been broke.
Tina Tower [00:51:45]:
Because, yes, there's a lot of things money can't buy, but my goodness, it does allow you to make such different decisions and have so much more freedom. And you're also allowed to stop doing something that used to fit while you still love it. And that's what I'm doing. I didn't want to get to the stage where I didn't love it anymore, where I resented it or where I wasn't having any fun because people are paying me for that. And I want to bring my A game. I want to give my best. And so I know how much I've got in the tank and how much I can give and I want to still have some energy left over for me. And so that is why I've made the decision that I have.
Tina Tower [00:52:32]:
And I haven't got it all figured out yet, but it is getting there. So thank you. Thank you for, you know, having me in your ears all these years. I won't see you in the next episode, but I will hopefully see you in the next chapter. Hopefully you get to join us for the final Her Empire Builder Live. I'm going to make it the best six months that we've ever had. I am bringing in everything I've got because I want to finish it off so well. So I am bringing in all of the best guest experts I can find.
Tina Tower [00:53:08]:
All of my A game without. Oh, my gosh, so much AI, so much to do with Claude design. It's just bonkers what it can do now. And so there's so much in there. If you want to join us in the final chapter of Her Empire Builder, that's all in the show notes or just go to herempirebuilder.com final if you want me on your podcast, go to our Her Empire Builder contact page or just email me Tina at tinatower.
