Episode #164: From an $11k launch to a $101k launch with Em Gee

Tina: Hi friends and welcome to episode 164 of Her Empire Builder podcast. I am recording this a few weeks before it is due to go out and I'm just looking at the calendar. At the time that this episode drops, I will have just finished my members’ retreat for Her Empire Builder in Palm Springs and be up in the Sedona mountains, about to go to another retreat in Costa Rica, and I'm looking at it just going, oh my gosh, it's so exciting. So hopefully when this episode comes out, everything will have gone to plan. I won't have been trapped at some border with COVID [laughs] or anything like that.

I am so pumped for this episode for you today. It is with one of my gorgeous Her Empire Builder members, Em Gee, and it is, you guys, it is a story. So Em joined Her Empire Builder less than a year ago and when she first joined, she had done a live launch herself before and had made $11,000 which is absolutely amazing. When you're first starting out and going, you know, your first five figure launch, like, that is, that is a massive, massive deal, but, you know, as you will hear, Em is someone with big dreams, as is everybody who joins Her Empire Builder, and she, she went to work. She got everything in the program, implemented it all, and went, how can I level this up? You know, she's hungry, she's ambitious, she's fabulous. She went and did all of the things and then did her launch using everything that she'd learnt in Her Empire Builder and went to $101,000 in her launch week. Like, amazing. Mind blown.

So, today, Em’s going to share with you what she implemented, how she did that, and how it all worked. If you want the insight as well, Her Empire Builder opens her doors next week. So, if you want to get some special early bird bonuses, you can join the waitlist at www.herempirebuilder.com. Doors will open on April 5th for a week and then close. So we open twice a year in April and October. So, if you're wanting to get in now and start to get some results, a lot of it, look, I think a lot of business success is, it’s a combination, right? It's not just mindset, it's not just tools and tips. It's both of those things and Her Empire Builder really is your one stop shop. We have our mindset coach who's a life-coach trained professional. We have Facebook ads training, we have Kajabi training, we have master classes with me and we bring in the best guest experts every month. We have all of the tools, tips, techniques, checklists, but also a focus in on the community and how to support one another and how to all rise together because it needs a combination of both those things.

I really do think that I have done so many different personal development, education, all of that sort of stuff, and Her Empire Builder is THE best online education for course creators in the world. So, if you are looking to level up, go to www.herempirebuilder.com and jump on now. You can join some of the launch week fun. We've got, for open week, I'm running a challenge. So you can, you can see all of this on the homepage. If you just go to www.tinatower.com, you can see all of the fun stuff, but I'm running a four day live challenge. So if you want to get a taste of what it's really like working with me, that'll be a really good one. I've got some free downloads so you can get a sample of what the checklists look like, and then I'm running a free masterclass as well on list building. So, there's some good free activities happening. The challenge is a low cost paid $44 so that you can get an idea of what that's going to be like to work with me and then you can decide if Her Empire Builder is the next right step for you in your business journey.

Okay, let's get into our conversation with Em. So in less than five years as a Solopreneur, Em Gee has become a best selling author and international business and mindset coach to women all over the world. Her unwavering belief in women to shine as leaders in their own fields has led her to teach unstoppability as the quality already there to be unleashed from within every single business owner that she works with. She's a mum of two girls and is paving the way for others to do the same and get equally unstoppable results. That is one of the reasons that I wanted to bring her on today, is, you know, she is such a beautiful example and I will be totally transparent. Not everyone comes into Her Empire Builder and implements everything and comes out with a six figure launch [laughs]. That's our goal but it takes a lot of people a little bit more time. A little bit more goes. So Em is a really beautiful example of dreaming big and taking massive action to bring those dreams to life. So let's get into it. Here she is, Em Gee.

Hi friend. I'm Tina Tower, Business Strategist and digital online empire builder. I've been in business since I was 20 years old and have since built and sold four businesses. I started in the world of online courses in 2017 and grew to a seven figure annual turnover in just under two years. To say I love the game of business is an understatement. I'm a world traveller, a mama, a wife, a best selling author, and I love the freedom that we have to create the business and life that we want to live. It takes courage to break the rules and shake things up and do it your way. Through Her Empire Builder I share my experience and bring you lessons from some of the world's best to help you dream big, plan well and take massive action. It is absolutely possible to run a thriving, growing business that positively impacts the world and have a beautiful personal life without hustling and working yourself into exhaustion. I want that for you. Let's enjoy the journey my friend.

Em, welcome to the Her Empire Builder podcast.

Em: Thank you so much for having me. I am pumped.

Tina: It is so exciting. I always love having beautiful members on and I can see in the background right now, this is audio only for everyone listening to it, but in the background is your beautiful new book.

Em: Yeah.

Tina: Congratulations on “Unstoppable”.

Em: Thank you. Yes, oh, it's “Uncertain to Unstoppable” but the big unstoppable down the side is obviously the key word that I want everyone to see and it's been an absolute journey creating that, and I have seen in your background how you have all of your books.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: I had to get something to put my book up the back as well.

Tina: [Laughs] For sure.

Em: I just want to show it off.

Tina: It’s a very important branding placement yeah?

Em: Yes.

Tina: So with your book, like, that's the first question I want to ask you because writing a book is, it's not a simple process. Like it is a very, I think probably one of the most mentally challenging things we can do. Was it always on your goals list? Or was it part of your, like part of your content plan? Or how, how did you come about going, you know what I want to put this book out into the world?

Em: It was a goal that I set for myself at the beginning of 2021 and it wasn't until halfway through the year that I thought oh, shit Emily, like, can I swear on this podcast? [Laughs]

Tina: Yes, you can, I will mark you as explicit. [Laughs]

Em: Okay, thank you. Please mark, I’m definitely explicit. I got halfway through the year, and I realised I only have six months left of the year to publish a book. So I better get my A into G. Now it was definitely strategy in terms of wanting to have that level of authority in my industry and, and just being at that level of saying, you know, I've published a book, but also, I didn't actually find it that hard to write. [Giggles]

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Which I know, I know is weird, because most people are like, what a, you know, it’s a huge achievement, but I, it was already within me. I based it off my podcast, which I had recorded previously, that was 20 episodes based on my life experience and my life lessons. So they became the 20 chapters of my book.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: So that actually made it relatively simple for me.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: To get it out there, but it was also very taxing in terms of the, the time, the energy and emotional investment into it because like, I know, I remember sitting down at my kitchen table with my laptop and crying, just crying, crying, crying as I was writing because it's almost therapeutic as you write about your life in your experience, but it was very draining doing that too.

Tina: Hmm. I did the same thing when I wrote, not “Million Dollar Micro Business”, it's very technical and practical, but when I wrote “One Life”, I was there at the laptop and just went [pretends to cry] while typing.

Em: Yeah. I was reading One Life as I was writing my book.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: So that was really interesting, and I knew that, you know, you've shared some of your book writing journey. I've listened to your podcast on it as well, and so that was quite refreshing to, to hear about your experience in doing that while I was writing my own book too.

Tina: Yeah. Well, congratulations. I think it's a massive thing. So it's a beautiful thing to have out in the world. So take me back to the beginning. How did you get started in this whole world of coaching?

Em: How did I get started? I feel like I've always been the person that someone will come to when they have a problem. [Laughs]

Tina: Hmm.

Em: Which can be a blessing or a curse.

Tina: Yup.

Em: Right? I've had to learn over time that I have to look after myself, really, first and foremost, because I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: I became a teacher. So I was a primary school teacher but I still wasn't looking after myself.

Tina: I didn't know that.

Em: Yeah, yeah, that's how I met my husband and he's still in education, but as a primary school teacher, especially in this day and age, you've got to be so passionate about the work to stick to it.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Because there's so much that you do that's not teaching and I fell into that career because it was a way that I could, I guess, coach, but small young kids through what's such an important time of life. Fast forward to having kids, I wanted to step away from teaching and do something that was going to fit a lifestyle where I could, you know, have a bit more time and space at home. I became a personal trainer because I love fitness. I'm one of those sickos. [Laughs]

Tina: [Laughs]

Em: Yes, exercise.

Tina: I always envy people that, I was talking to a friend the other day going, like, do you get this like runner's high, like this endorphin rush that people talk about? Because, I mean, I get off my Peloton bike, and I literally nearly collapse, and then I feel like I need a nap.

Em: [Laughs]

Tina: Like, I'm like, what is this endorphins that people speak of? You get that? [Laughs]

Em: I do get that. I really do get that. I am quite a psycho if I haven't actually exercised.

Tina: Yeah, I hear people talk about this.

Em: My husband will often say to me, Em, have you done some exercise today if I'm in a mood. I'm like, no, he's like, go, go get out.

Tina: Hmm. I love that.

Em: So personal training was a good way for me to do that on the daily.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: But I learnt over time that when people were coming to me for a transformation that what they felt was a physical transformation, actually, what they needed was a mental transformation. That moved into mindset coaching. I'm a manifesting generator by human design. So I kind of get, I get shiny object syndrome. I'm like, oh, I want to do this. Now I want to do that. Now I want to do that. So the mindset coaching then evolved into, it became quite successful, people asking me how I was successful in mindset coaching.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: And wanting coaching around that, and the natural evolution turned into my clients being other coaches who wanted to also have the same success.

Tina: Yes.

Em: And so now, I coach female entrepreneurs to be unstoppable in all the things that they do in their business.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Whether that's mindset strategy, just the energetics of being in business, which is so different to having a job.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: And I love it. So, I don't know where that's going to transform from here because I imagine, given how many transformations I've had in just five years of business, there's going to be more.

Tina: That’s exactly it but that's what makes it so exciting as well, is knowing that nothing is permanent. In this day and age. You know, I’ve been in business now 18 years.

Em: Wow.

Tina And the only constant is the change of it, and going, every year with the new technology, with new services, with new accessibility. Like there’s, there’s just a different iteration, and that's so beautiful, being able to adapt to what people need and want from you as well.

Em: Yeah, yeah, definitely. I'm all about the fun and excitement of life.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And I think that's probably why I can't work in education anymore.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Because there's too many rules and boundaries that you can't cross that I'm like, no, I want to do all the things in the way that I want to do them. I look up to you, Tina, because I see, you know, the things that you've created in the world.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: Like you have a mini economy, essentially.

Tina: Yeah?

Em: And that's, that's what I want to create, you know, I see so much power in that, and that excites me. Like that really excites me.

Tina: Yeah, that's incredible. Okay, so then you did the evolution and switched online. Now I know a lot of people are actually either in your position, or have been in your position and are going through that same evolution that listened to the podcast. How did you go from that one-on-one basis in going, you know what, people are asking me for coaching, I'm going to get a few clients, this is going well, I'm enjoying this, then getting good results. To then going, you know what, I'm going to package this, go out of my current reach, and go into the wider world and start building that online personal brand and start building those online programs? When did that happen and was it a gradual thing or was it like, I've seen this. This is it. I'm making the switch and I'm doing it?

Em: So, it's an interesting story, because I actually started doing some online programs before I was ready, like six years ago, before I really even had a business.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And it was a total fail.

Tina: [Giggles]

Em: [Giggles] It was a total fail, and I share this quite publicly because I see a lot of people make mistakes and feel like a failure and not continue, and I share this because it's like, I failed, I screwed it up. I went back and learn from that and now I'm able to have a six figure launch.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: As I just had, and I'm assuming we're going to talk about that at some point.

Tina: Yeah, we will.

Em: Yeah.

Tina: But I do like that distinction in going, I do, I do see it all the time, myself as well, in going, people will perceive themselves as a failure, when it's really just that strategy or that simple idea. That didn't work. Let's find a different one. Yeah.

Em:  So, my shiny object syndrome led me to go, oh, online courses are a thing. I’m going to create one of those with absolutely no experience.

Tina: [Giggles]

Em: With absolutely no idea what I was doing. I had not worked with anyone one-to-one so I didn't even know what people wanted, and I spent six months creating this course. I put it out there, no launch process, no one bought it. [Laughs]

Tina: I’ve no idea why Em. [Laughs]

Em: Why, why? When I've put six months of my life into this.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And I even contacted an influencer at the time and got her. I said, you know, would you like to do this course for free and then share it with your audience? She got into module two, told me it was crap, wasn't doing it.

Tina: Oh, no. Ohh.

Em: So, cue me crying for 48 hours straight. Right? It was horrible. [Giggles]

Tina: Yeah. [Giggles]

Em: Horrible, but I came out the other side of that and went, actually, what can I learn from this? And I believe this has been the reason I've been more and more successful, because instead of, I mean, I'll cry about it for 48 hours, for sure.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: But then I'll move on and take the learnings and make changes. So then I went back to working one-to-one. Well, I should say, [laughs] I started working one-to-one because I hadn't been doing that.

Tina: [Laughs]

Em: And, and that was for about two to three years, based on like. mindset, fitness, that kind of thing. Then when I was able to recognise some really powerful patterns in the work that I was already doing with my clients, I just basically went, I can do this now, you know.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: It’s time. It’s now time, and I'd been working behind the scenes kind of thinking about it for a while too. I probably didn't need to take two to three years. It was just maybe my heart was hurting. [Laughs]

Tina: Yeah, I can imagine. Yeah, because when you’re burnt like that, you think, you know, was it me? Was it this?

Em: Hmm.

Tina: Yeah, but I mean, obviously, knowing what you're talking about is a very essential item. [Laughs]

Em: [Laughs]

Tina: To having a really good launch.

Em: Exactly.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Yeah. Yeah, and understanding, I think that's when you can go into creating courses and group programs, is when you've had the time to work with people to recognise what the patterns are that showing up for everyone.

Tina: Yeah, well then, I mean, so much, and I know you know, this, because I harp on about it all the time.

Em: [Giggles]

Tina: Is the clarity of message and going, it’s only when you've worked with people, like it's why I love people starting with one-on-one, is because then you get to know people so intimately. You know exactly what the pain points are, exactly what the problem is, exactly what the objections are, exactly what the wins are, exactly the pathway, all of the different things, which means you can be so clear in your program, in your messaging, in your marketing, in everything, because you, you know it.

Em: Yep.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And then your clients do get the transformation, even in a group context, because you've had that experience in that understanding, and I know there are a lot of people that kind of jump straight to online courses, but that's just not what was going to work for me.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: At that point in time, and that's okay, and, I guess, different people will have different strategies and different things work, but I do think for most people, having that one-to-one experience versus important, I kind of was able to transfer completely into online with COVID, as most of us did.

Tina: Yep.

Em: You know. At the beginning of 2020 it was like, okay, so [giggles] what do, what do I do now?

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And it became almost like my excuse that the clients that I was seeing face-to-face, I was doing some online, but the clients I was seeing face-to-face, I just started saying, look, I don't think it's the right thing for us to be seeing each other face-to-face anymore. Let's go online. Then when restrictions eased, we were already online and I just said, look, I've really enjoyed this. Let’s, let's stay online. Then in 2021, I went and just launched only group programs.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And that was scary but my first group program went really well and.

Tina: So tell me about your first proper launch.

Em: My first proper launch would have been at the beginning of last year.

Tina: Yup.

Em: I still didn't really know what I was doing. So beginning of last year, being the beginning of 2021, it was an $11k launch. $11,000, whoo, [giggles] I was really excited about that.

Tina: That’s so neat though, to know that it's going to work.

Em: Yeah, well for me, I was like, I think it is.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Yeah, and in hindsight, it was way underpriced, the program that I was running, but I was ready to serve and got some incredible results with some incredible women, and I, I really was at the time just kind of throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what would stick with the launch process. [Laughs]

Tina: Yes.

Em: But it did work. There were things that didn't work, but there were a lot of things that worked, and so I, as I said before, just went okay, learn from this, what do I do next?

Tina: Yeah, and then it was after that one that you came into Her Empire Builder right?

Em: Yes, yes.

Tina: Yes, and then tell me about what you did, [laughs] because I know, then it wasn’t spaghetti at the wall.

Em: It wasn’t.

Tina: Then you became like super strategic, and you launched like a frickin boss. I watched you launch and I was like, ohh, look at you go. Like, for those who don't know Em, go and follow her on social media. Her link is in the show notes, because I want you to scroll back and see the launch imagery, where he dressed up as a superhero. [Laughs]

Em: I did, yes.

Tina: Awesome, yes. So tell me about that launch.

Em: Goodness, where do I even start with this launch? I'm actually going to start with a conversation that I just had with my Facebook ads manager the other day, because she's doing a case study on this launch. She's been working in online ads for 15 years. So previous to Facebook, Google ads, a long time. She said to me, I have never seen such incredible organic marketing in a launch, I need to use you as a case study because I have other clients who I do Facebook ads for and they think that ads just run everything.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Like they need to be complemented with organic marketing and the way you did it was phenomenal. So, [giggles] that’s amazing for me, obviously, that she's going to be sharing a bit about what I did.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: I had a plan, first of all, which was great, because I've not really had much of a launch plan prior to this launch. You know, I'd just been flying by the seat of my pants, throwing spaghetti against the wall, waking up and being like, okay, what can I do today? For most days, that's great. Like, I feel good most days, but then on some days, especially in that middle-launch low.

Tina: Yeah. That's the most mentally challenging part where you're like, why am I doing this? Is it ever good enough? Why did I even bother? [Laughs]

Em: Yes, and if I didn't have something planned for that day, I just wouldn't even be able to show up.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: You know, and so having a plan ahead of time, that allowed me to stick to a strategy, but also some flexibility in that as well, which, which was really, really powerful. I remember when I joined Her Empire Builder, and you had your bell.

Tina: [Giggles]

Em: And you know, so there was like those little things that people remember. I asked myself, like, what can I do that is something that people will remember, and I actually was having a conversation with my husband about it. He's been getting into woodwork, getting all excited about woodwork. So he made an unstoppable sign with woodwork, and I was like, I can hire you now is like my, my Creative Director or something now that you're coming up with these ideas.

Tina: [Laughs]

Em: So we created that and we welcomed everyone in. So that was really fun as well. I did Facebook ads for the first time, which was incredible but I had someone do that for me because.

Tina: How much did you spend on Facebook ads for the launch?

Em: I spent $3,500.

Tina: Yeah, okay. Good amount but not over the top. Love it.

Em: It’s not huge.

Tina: R.O.I. was amazing!

Em: Oh, 100%.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Like, absolutely worth every cent and my ads manager who obviously works with other people as well, she said some people have spent $15,000 to get that kind of result.

Tina: Yeah. Yeah.

Em: So, it's a combination of the ads and the organic marketing. Really, it was about the amount that I showed up and how I showed up, outside of my comfort zone. Believe it or not, dressing up like that still wasn't that comfortable for me even though I’m quite extroverted.

Tina: [Giggles] Yep.

Em: I don't know if you saw how high cut.

Tina: Oh yeah.

Em: That leotard is? [Laughs]

Tina: Yep. [Laughs]

Em: So, but it was, it made it fun. You know, I loved every day of that launch. There were still moments in the mid, low moments where I jumped into the Facebook, I loved how I jumped into the Facebook group, our Facebook group, and got so much support from all the women in the there. They're all cheering me on and watching me as I was going. Yeah, I don't know what else to share. There’s so much to share.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: About that launch. It was like a whole chapter of my life. That one launch.

Tina: Yeah, well it’s kind of like. You can’t, well I was going to ask you the question, like, what did you do differently on this launch to the launch before, but all of it, like the strategy, the marketing, like all of it really. What was the end result? What did you finish on?

Em: I finished on $101,089. [Giggles]

Tina: Oh my gosh, a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen, oh my gosh, that is so incredible. If there’s, I mean, I know that everything works in harmony together. You’ve done a lot of things in the lead up. You’ve done a lot of things during that all work together, but was there one element of it that you did that you thought, wow, this worked better than I thought. Like, this is a winning strategy that I'm going to make sure I double down on then when you do the next launch?

Em: Yeah, I think the main strategy that converted was having conversations in DMs.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: Through Instagram, and Facebook, mostly Instagram, but that was a really big strategy for myself and for my assistant in terms of connecting with people through Instagram as much as possible. So when people registered for my webinar, they got an opportunity to put their business name. It wasn't mandatory to write it, but most people did, and then I would go and follow them on Instagram, and send them a message and say, thank you for registering for my webinar, really looking forward to seeing you there, that increased my show up rate live, obviously, which was brilliant. Then afterwards, I sent a message to everyone and just said, you know, whether they, if they were live, it was like, great to see you there, let me know your thoughts. If they weren't live I said, I hope you can catch the replay, it’ll be in your inbox within the next couple of hours. Even if people weren't on my webinar, if I was seeing people watching my stories, I would interact with their stories, interact with their posts, because I know if they're watching my stories, they're interested in what I'm talking about.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: So let's get into a conversation with them. Let's follow them back and have a conversation and I wasn't selling in my DMs. I wasn't going, hey, have you seen my program? Do you want to buy it?

Tina: [Laughs] Yeah.

Em: I was just having a conversation.

Tina: Yes.

Em: And then those conversations might naturally lead into them going, oh, I've been seeing you talking about this. You know, tell me more.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: I was like, okay, thanks for the invitation. Let's do that.

Tina: Yes, and that's exactly, I mean, when we're recording this, the masterclass that I ran yesterday, was on selling through social media by not selling. [Laughs]

Em: Hmm.

Tina: And it is.

Em: No one likes to be spammed.

Tina: No, but it's also such an incredible opportunity to connect and build relationships with people that are already following you that you can say, oh, hey, I see you. Nice, nice to meet you.

Em: Hmm.

Tina: You know.

Em: Yeah.

Tina: It puts the social back into social media.

Em:  Yes

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And my highest value is connection. So I love having a chat in my DMs.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: I know, it does take a lot of time, and I did get my VA to do a lot of things like, you know, just watching people's stories and sending the little emojis and you know, that kind of thing or commenting on people's posts, so that she was kind of doing that lower level stuff for me.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Then I would be actually having the conversations in DMs but I believe when I look at the, the 27 women who joined the Unstoppables, I don't think there's a single one, I’m looking at the names on my wall right now, I don't think there's a single one that I wasn't in DMs with. Yeah.

Tina: Amazing. That is so good. Okay, so now that you've had your six figure launch, which was your goal at the start, and I must admit I, I was like, because when, when anyone starts in Her Empire Builder, the first thing I ask is like, what would make this a success for you? That's what I always ask people and you said, a six figure launch. I'm like, oh my goodness, like really? You want to go from an $11k launch to? I mean, talk about set the bar high. I'm like, okay.

Em: That’s what I do Tina.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: But the problem, not the problem. The thing that usually happens is that I make a massive goal.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And I don't quite reach it, but I'm okay with that because I would reach higher than.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: What I would if I didn't go for that.

Tina: Yes.

Em: And so I have this $100k goal right and I'm going, yeah, that's cool. Like I probably won't get it [laughs] and then I got it.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And I'm like, I'm still in shock. It’s been a month and I’m still in shock.

Tina: It was one of my, I mean, it is my favourite thing about running our membership is being able to watch people go through that and having that, like, the final day of your launch was, like, so much fun because you were sharing, like, blow by blow updates and going, oh my gosh, $92,000, $96,000, oh my god. [Laughs]

Em: [Laughs] Like every sale I was coming back on being like, here I am, here I am. People were messaging as well, well not messaging but commenting on the thread, you know, and seeing where I was and.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: I had so many people watching that launch just for the fun of watching the launch.

Tina: Definitely.

Em: Not interested in the program, but just like.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: This is so cool to watch.

Tina: Completely. So now that you've done that, what is next for you? What does the ecosystem of your business look like in, in the rest of 2022?

Em: So this is a really good question [laughs] because, I think, because I wasn't expecting, I had this goal, but I wasn't expecting to actually make the goal. I'm in this phase of, okay, I need to recalibrate and look at what this looks like. I am going to be relaunching for a second cohort, and then a third cohort of the Unstoppables throughout the year, and those will also be six figure launches, if not beyond, and I was going to do four launches of that, but I'm re-establishing whether that's going to be the right thing to do, or whether I focus my energy on the evergreen courses that I have got.

Tina: Hmm.

Em: Because that can reach more people and allow me to also focus my energy into the women that are already in The Unstoppables. So I’m, I’m going to recalibrate.

Tina: So much more for us to focus on. I love it.

Em: Exactly, and, and I know there's so much that I can use in the resources that, that you've got already for me to be able to do that, because it scares me. I'll be honest, Tina, it does scare me to go, okay, right, I'm going to change tact and focus a little bit on my evergreen courses, but this is how we grow, is by stepping into the spaces where we feel uncomfortable. That's how I've got to the point where I'm at and will continue to grow. So.

Tina: I love that and we’re cheering you on all the way. But my final question is because we're launching Her Empire Builder next week.

Em: Hmm.

Tina: What do you love most about being part of it?

Em: Oh, gosh, what do I love most? Okay, so if I was to say, one, the main thing, it would actually be how I can tell that you care.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: You’re like, yeah, yeah, of course I do.

Tina: [Giggles]

Em: But there are so many group programs where you feel totally lost in the mix, and I feel that you have such a big heart, and it just expands for everyone in the group.

Tina: Ahh, thanks.

Em: And honestly, I feel that, and I'm a very feeling person, so I feel that. That’s probably the number one thing you know, for me. Secondly, is the group. The group is absolutely phenomenal. The woman in the there are phenomenal. I feel so supported. I live in a rural town in Western Australia and I don't have that many super ambitious friends.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Like the woman that are in Her Empire Builder, so it is so nice to be able to jump online and be connected with women who are like, fuck, yeah, I want to make a million dollars, you know.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Without being triggered by it.

Tina: Yeah. [Laughs]

Em: Yeah. [Laughs]

Tina: With people that are going me too. Of course, how are we going to do that? Let's work together and make it happen.

Em: Yeah, yep. There's so many things and even just knowing that whatever question I have, there's a, there's a resource for that.

Tina: Yeah, there is. [Laughs]

Em: And things that I thought that I knew so much about, there's actually so much more. One of the things you shared yesterday about sending those little video posts to people during launch, I’m like, oh, I can add that into my launch strategy. Here I am thinking I've got all the bells and whistles, there's more bells and whistles.

Tina: There’s always more bells and whistles.

Em: I'm like, yes.

Tina: Yes, you can go for that one. Oh, I love it. Thank you so much Em, and I mean, my personal goal is by 2025 to have helped 100 women create million dollar online businesses. You will be one.

Em: And you know that’s why I joined, right? Because, and I said that to you from the beginning. I was like, I am going to be one of those women.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: And when I do that, I do it.

Tina: Yeah.

Em: Like I take ownership, and it will happen, and at the moment I'm actually predicting it will happen before 2025.

Tina: Well, seeing as though your, your top launch was $11k, and then you used strategy and did $101,000.

Em: [Laughs]

Tina: Um, yeah. I think you’ll be okay.

Em: Oh, maybe next year.

Tina: [Laughs] Let’s go for it. We got this. Thanks so much Em.

Em: Thank you so much for having me. It's been an absolute pleasure.
